Toyota to Cut July Vehicle Output Further
Nagoya, June 22 (Jiji Press)--Leading Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corp. <7203> said Wednesday it will additionally reduce vehicle output in July, due chiefly to parts supply constraints.
The move will lower Toyota's July global vehicle production to about 800,000 units--250,000 at home and 550,000 abroad--down by around 50,000 units from its projection as of the beginning of the year.
