Shinsei Bank Sees 1st Growth in Customer Accounts in 4 Years
Tokyo, June 23 (Jiji Press)--Shinsei Bank <8303> is expected to see the number of individual customer accounts increase for the first time in about four years in June, it was learned on Thursday.
The growth comes after the Japanese bank raised its interest rate on fixed deposits. Shinsei Bank aims to leverage the account growth to improve its profitability and repay public funds at an early date.
