(Update) KDDI to Pay 200 Yen as Apology over Network Disruption

   Tokyo, July 29 (Jiji Press)--KDDI Corp. <9433> said Friday it will pay back 200 yen each to 35.89 million mobile subscribers as an "apology" for a major network disruption that lasted several days earlier this month.
   The Japanese company will also compensate 2.71 million subscribers under the terms and conditions of contracts, paying back an amount equal to two days' worth of mobile charges, or 52 yen per day on average.
