INTERVIEW: Mizuho Securities Sees Record Investment Banking Profit
Tokyo, Sept. 30 (Jiji Press)--Mizuho Securities Co.'s ordinary profit from investment banking operations in the year ending in March 2025 is expected to hit the highest level since comparable data became available in the year ended in March 2014, President and CEO Yoshiro Hamamoto said in a recent interview.
The Japanese company expects to see its investment banking profit rise by about 20 pct from the previous year to around 50 billion yen, Hamamoto said.
