Seven & i Logs 22 Pct Fall in 1st-Half Operating Profit

   Tokyo, Oct. 10 (Jiji Press)--Major Japanese retail group Seven & i Holdings Co. on Thursday reported a consolidated operating profit of 186.9 billion yen for the March-August first half of the business year through February 2025, down 22.4 pct from a year before.
   The company's first-half net profit declined 34.9 pct to 52.2 billion yen, on sales of 6,035.5 billion yen, up 8.8 pct.
