Trump Tariffs Shock Japanese Automakers
Tokyo, Feb. 3 (Jiji Press)--U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to impose 25 pct tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada has sent shock waves through Japanese automakers operating in the two U.S. neighbors.
If tariffs are added onto vehicle prices, sales will inevitably decrease, possibly leading automakers to take drastic measures such as shifting production.
