Couche-Tard Disappointed with Seven & i Takeover Talks
New York, March 10 (Jiji Press)--Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. on Monday expressed its dissatisfaction as Seven & i Holdings Co. is prioritizing avoiding possible U.S. antitrust law breaches over the major Canadian convenience store chain's proposal to buy the Japanese retailer.
Alimentation Couche-Tard said in a statement that it is "disappointed" that the negotiations over the proposed takeover deal are "focused only on the path to U.S. regulatory approval."
