Tokyo Stocks Likely to Be Sluggish Next Week

Tokyo, May 17 (Jiji Press)--Stocks are likely to show sluggish moves on the Tokyo Stock Exchange next week amid investors closely following developments in the U.S.-China trade dispute, market sources said.
This week, the 225-issue Nikkei average fell 94.83 points, or 0.44 pct, to end at 21,250.09 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, mainly pulled down by concerns among investors over possible heightening of the trade conflict between the two largest economies.
