Nikkei Turns Down, Ending below 21,000

   Tokyo, June 18 (Jiji Press)--Stocks plunged on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Tuesday amid the yen's appreciation against the dollar, sending the key Nikkei average below the 21,000 threshold.
   The 225-issue Nikkei average fell 151.29 points, or 0.72 pct, to end at 20,972.71, after gaining 7.11 points on Monday. The market yardstick last closed below 21,000 on June 7.
