Tokyo Stocks Bleed on Refueled Concern over U.S.-Iran Strife

   Tokyo, Jan. 8 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo stocks tumbled Wednesday amid rekindled concern over tensions between the United States and Iran, forcing the benchmark Nikkei average to fall below the 23,000 threshold for the first time in one and a half months at one point.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 370.96 points, or 1.57 pct, to end at 23,204.76. On Tuesday, the key market gauge jumped 370.86 points.
