Dollar Rises Past 109.10 Yen in Tokyo

   Tokyo, March 19 (Jiji Press)--The dollar rose above 109.10 yen in Tokyo trading Thursday, partly reflecting overseas investors' desire to have dollars in their hands amid coronavirus-caused turmoil in financial markets.
   At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 109.15-15 yen, up from 107.42-43 yen at the same time Wednesday. The euro was at 1.0847-0848 dollars, down from 1.0970-0970 dollars, and at 118.41-43 yen, up from 117.88-89 yen.
