Tokyo Stocks Rise Further on U.S. Futures' Strength

   Tokyo, Jan. 12 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo stocks gained further ground Tuesday, backed by a rise in U.S. index futures despite a dearth of fresh market-moving factors.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange climbed 25.31 points, or 0.09 pct, to close at 28,164.34. The benchmark index extended its winning streak to a third trading day after soaring 648.90 points Friday. The market was closed Monday for a national holiday.
