Dollar Hits 5-Month High of around 106.20 Yen in Tokyo

   Tokyo, Feb. 17 (Jiji Press)--The dollar hit a five-month high of around 106.20 yen in Tokyo trading Wednesday as hopes for economic recovery pushed up U.S. long-term interest rates.
   At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 106.02-06 yen, up from 105.46-47 yen at the same time Tuesday. The euro was at 1.2073-2074 dollars, down from 1.2130-2130 dollars, and at 128.01-08 yen, up from 127.94-95 yen.
