Nikkei Ends Lower in Thin Trading

   Tokyo, June 8 (Jiji Press)--Japan's benchmark Nikkei stock average ended lower in thin trading Tuesday as falls in heavyweight components helped the index lose its earlier gains.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange gave up 55.68 points, or 0.19 pct, to close at 28,963.56, after rising 77.72 points Monday.
