Dollar Rises to around 110.50 yen in Tokyo

   Tokyo, Sept. 24 (Jiji Press)---The dollar strengthened to around 110.50 yen in Tokyo trading Friday, driven by rises in Japanese stock prices and U.S. interest rates.
   At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 110.46-47 yen, up slightly from 109.44-44 yen at the same time Wednesday. The euro was at 1.1738-1738 dollars, up from 1.1728-1728 dollars, and at 129.68-68 yen, up from 128.36-36 yen.
