Dollar Hits 34-Month High around 112.80 Yen Tokyo

   Tokyo, Oct. 11 (Jiji Press)--The dollar exceeded 112.80 yen for the first time in some 34 months in Tokyo trading Monday, backed by rises in U.S. long-term interest rates and Japanese stocks.
   At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 112.79-79 yen, up from 111.95-95 yen at the same time Friday. The euro was at 1.1574-1574 dollars, up from 1.1546-1550 dollars, and at 130.54-61 yen, up from 129.28-35 yen.
