Nikkei Edges Down in Thin Trade ahead of FOMC Minutes

   Tokyo, May 25 (Jiji Press)--The benchmark Nikkei stock average finished modestly lower on Wednesday, ahead of the release later in the day of minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve's latest policy-setting meeting.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime market shed 70.34 points, or 0.26 pct, to finish at 26,677.80, after falling 253.38 points Tuesday.
