Nikkei Ends Lower, Dampened by Tech Weakness

   Tokyo, May 26 (Jiji Press)--The benchmark Nikkei stock average erased early gains to finish lower on Thursday, down for the third straight session, dampened by the weakness of tech issues.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime market retreated 72.96 points, or 0.27 pct, to finish at 26,604.84, following a 70.34-point decline Wednesday.
