Tokyo Stocks Rise Further on Waning U.S. Rate Hike Fears

Tokyo, Nov. 24 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo stocks gained further ground Thursday, as worries about aggressive U.S. interest rate hikes retreated.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime section rose 267.35 points, or 0.95 pct, to finish at 28,383.09, after gaining 170.95 points Tuesday. The Tokyo market was closed Wednesday for a national holiday.
