Dollar Tops 130 Yen in Tokyo after BOJ Operation

   Tokyo, Jan. 23 (Jiji Press)--The dollar shot up past 130.00 yen in Tokyo trading Monday, after the Bank of Japan offered to inject medium-term funds into the banking system.
   At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 130.11-13 yen, up from 128.89-90 yen at the same time Friday. The euro was at 1.0915-0915 dollars, up from 1.0842-0843 dollars, and at 142.00-03 yen, up from 139.72-75 yen.
