Nikkei Snaps 8-Day Winning Streak on Profit-Taking

   Tokyo, May 23 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo stocks turned lower Tuesday on profit-taking after a bull run that lifted the benchmark Nikkei average to 33-year highs.
   The Nikkei average of 225 selected issues listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime section shed 129.05 points, or 0.42 pct, to finish at 30,957.77, after climbing 278.47 points on Monday to mark its highest closing since July 26, 1990.
