Tokyo Stocks Expected to Remain Directionless Next Week
Tokyo, Oct. 11 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo stocks are expected to remain directionless next week as investors are likely to keep a wait-and-see attitude over corporate earnings reports and major political events.
This week, the benchmark Nikkei 225 stock average gained 970.18 points, or 2.51 pct, from a week earlier to close at 39,605.80 on Friday. It spent the week around the 39,000 threshold.
