JR Tokai Braces for Larger Net Loss for FY 2020

   Nagoya, Feb. 22 (Jiji Press)--Central Japan Railway Co. <9022>, or JR Tokai, said Monday that it expects to suffer a larger net loss than previously forecast for fiscal 2020 due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic.
   Passengers on its Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train line decreased beyond the company's expectation as Japan has declared its second COVID-19 state of emergency in Tokyo and some other areas and extended it.
