Japanese Logistics Firms Focusing on Reducing Emissions

   Tokyo, May 2 (Jiji Press)--Japanese logistics companies are increasingly focusing on reducing carbon dioxide emissions as part of an effort to change the impression that the industry is a big emitter.
   Freight transportation accounts for almost 10 pct of carbon dioxide emissions in Japan, according to the National Institute for Environmental Studies.
