Japan Post Bank's Money Transfer System Hit by Glitch

   Tokyo, July 17 (Jiji Press)--Japan Post Bank said Thursday that its money transfer service is offline due to a system glitch.
   The system failure occurred in the bank's money transfer service at store counters, automated teller machines and online banking around 2 p.m. Thursday.
   Problems with money transfers from other banks' accounts to Japan Post Bank have also been reported.
   The bank halted money transfer transactions at store counters.
   The cause of the system glitch is still unknown. The bank said that it has not detected any signs of a cyberattack.
