(Update) Sony Group Logs Record Net Profit for FY 2024

   Tokyo, May 14 (Jiji Press)--Sony Group Corp. on Wednesday posted a record consolidated net profit of 1,141.6 billion yen for fiscal 2024, up 17.6 pct from the preceding year, thanks mainly to the strength of its mainstay gaming business.
   Its semiconductor operations were brisk as well, according to the Japanese electronics and entertainment giant.
