Sony Raises PlayStation 5 Prices in U.S.

   New York, Aug. 20 (Jiji Press)--Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC said Wednesday that it will raise the suggested retail price of its PlayStation 5 gaming console by 50 dollars to 549.99 dollars in the United States, effective Thursday.
   "We continue to navigate a challenging economic environment," the Sony Group Corp. unit said on its blog, adding that other multinational companies face similar pressures.
