U.S. Fund OKs Seven & i's Supermarket Listing Plan

   Tokyo, April 19 (Jiji Press)--U.S. activist fund ValueAct Capital has expressed support for Japanese retail group Seven & i Holdings Co.'s stock listing plan for its supermarket operations.
   In an announcement Thursday, ValueAct, a major shareholder of Seven & i, also said it will vote for the company's proposal for director appointments at a general meeting of shareholders to be held May 28.
