Singapore Students Take Guide's Advice on Volunteer Work in Tsunami-Ravaged Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture

     The students turned speechless when their bus drove through tsunami-flattened coastal areas in Rukuzentakata. One group of the students helped remove rubble from a site to be used as a makeshift parking lot for visitors to the 'Kenka Tanabata' festival a few days later.
