Performers Create Five Olympic Rings during Sochi Closing Ceremony at Fisht Olympic Stadium

     The 2014 Winter Olympic Games ended on Feb. 23 with a closing ceremony at Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi, Russia. The 17-day quadrennial sports event brought together some 4,500 athletes and officials from 88 countries and regions. The Japanese team won eight medals--one gold, four silvers and three bronzes--to achieve the second best result after the 10 medals in the 1998 Nagano Olympics.
