7 of 10 Major Japan Power Firms Log Net Profit Drops

   Tokyo, May 1 (Jiji Press)--Seven of Japan's 10 major power suppliers posted falls in their consolidated net profits for fiscal 2024, which ended in March, according to their latest earnings reports.
   The profit declines reflected smaller gains stemming from the delayed impact on electricity rates from falling fuel costs for thermal power generation.
