Tokyo High Court Presiding Judge Yukio Shirai (3rd Left) Visits Place Temporarily Storing Decontamination Waste, Other Parts of Iitate, Fukushima Prefecture, to See Reality of Nuke Accident-Afflicted Areas

The 9.0-magnitude earthquake and subsequent monster tsunami waves on March 11 2011 severely damaged Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant. The accident and suspension of other plants in the quake-hit areas have caused serious power supply shortages in various parts of eastern Japan including Tokyo.
