Plaintiffs' Lawyers Meet Press in City of Hiroshima after Winning High Court's Provisional Ruling Banning Operation of No. 3 Reactor at Shikoku Electric's Ikata Nuclear Plant in Ehime Prefecture

The 9.0-magnitude earthquake and subsequent monster tsunami waves on March 11 2011 severely damaged Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant. The accident and suspension of other plants in the quake-hit areas have caused serious power supply shortages in various parts of eastern Japan including Tokyo.
