Schoolgirl Stabbed to Death in Southwestern Japan

   Fukuoka, Dec. 14 (Jiji Press)--Two junior high school students were stabbed by a man at a McDonald's hamburger shop in the southwestern Japan prefecture of Fukuoka on Saturday night.
   The students were rushed to hospital, but one of them, a girl, died. The other victim, a boy, is conscious.
   The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. The male suspect ran away from the scene, and investigators from the Fukuoka prefectural police department are searching for him.
   The man is about 40 years old and some 170 centimeters tall, according to the police.
   The McDonald's restaurant, located along National Route 322 in the city of Kitakyushu, is about 400 meters southwest of Tokuriki Kodan-mae Station of the Kitakyushu Urban Monorail line.
