Japan Industrial Output Logs 1st Drop in 3 Months in Nov.

Tokyo, Dec. 27 (Jiji Press)--Japan's industrial production in November fell 2.3 pct from the previous month, the first drop in three months, the industry ministry said Friday.
The decline mainly stemmed from falls in exports of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and automobiles.
The seasonally-adjusted production index for the mining and manufacturing sectors stood 101.7 against the 2020 base of 100.
The ministry left its basic assessment unchanged, saying that industrial production is fluctuating "indecisively."
Production fell in 11 of the 15 surveyed industries.
