80 Years On: U.S. Public Growing Critical of 1945 A-Bombings

   Washington, Aug. 26 (Jiji Press)--A growing number of people in the United States are becoming critical of nuclear weapons, even as many in the country firmly believe the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki 80 years ago were justified.
   Opposition to nuclear weapons is especially increasing among the so-called Generation Z in their 10s and 20s, who doubt the prevalent view that the atomic bombings of the Japanese cities in 1945 helped end World War II.
