Fireworks to light up Hanoi sky for Reunification Day celebration
Hanoi will host two fireworks displays in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's Reunification Day (April 30), according to the city's administration.
This first display will take place from 9:45 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesday at the F1 racetrack area in Phu Do Ward, Nam Tu Liem District.
The fireworks show, which will feature both high- and low-altitude fireworks along with stage pyrotechnics, is part of an artistic program scheduled to take place at 8:00 pm on Tuesday at My Dinh National Stadium.
The second display is scheduled for April 27, from 9:45 pm to 10:00 pm, at the multi-functional stage in Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District.
It will coincide with the live national television broadcast of 'Vang mai khuc khai hoan' (Echoes of Victory), commemorating five decades since the liberation of southern Vietnam.
The Hanoi Capital Command will lead the coordination and implementation of both events, in collaboration with city departments and district authorities.
Transport and safety plans have also been prepared to ensure smooth operations.
