Investors Seen Remaining Nervous about Trump Policies Next Week
Tokyo, Feb. 7 (Jiji Press)--Investors are seen remaining nervous about the policies of U.S. President Donald Trump next week, leaving the Tokyo stock market without a clear direction, market sources said.
This week, the benchmark Nikkei 225 stock average shed 785.47 points, or 1.98 pct, to close at 38,787.02 on Friday. On Monday, the index gave up more than 1,000 points after Trump decided to impose additional tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico and China.
