(Update) North Korea Fires Short-Range Ballistic Missile

   Seoul, July 1 (Jiji Press)--North Korea fired a short-range ballistic missile in a northeastern direction on Monday, the South Korean military said.
   The missile was launched from the Jangyon area in South Hwanghae Province at about 5:05 a.m. local time, the South Korean military said.
   The launch came after North Korea fired a ballistic missile on Wednesday.
   The South Korean military also detected the trajectory of a ballistic missile launched by North Korea at about 5:15 a.m. Monday.
   The South Korean military said it is maintaining a full-readiness posture while sharing related information with the United States and Japan.
