MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is already coordinating with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) to arrest the Japanese “boss” who allegedly hired hitmen to kill two of his compatriots in Manila.

The Manila Police District (MPD) previously told INQUIRER.net that one of the suspects claimed an individual based in Japan contracted them for P9 million.

When asked if the PNP was already coordinating with the Interpol in response, in a press briefing in Camp Crame on Friday, Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III said, “The coordination is already ongoing.”

“We’ll do everything that we have to do so that we can completely give justice to the victim,” he added.
